  • Native of Chattanooga, TN
  • standout running back at UT-Chattanooga, setting numerous school kickoff return records
  • in 1977, led the nation in kickoff returns with a 36.4 per return average
  • Earned undergraduate degree in criminal justice in 1983
  • married to wife, Maria Ann, with two children: son Anthony, and daughter Keshea

Career Highlights

  • joined the LSU staff in February 2015 after spending the past nine years on the coaching staff at Georgia
  • 20 years of experience of coaching wide receivers and running backs at the highest level of college football
  • developed some of the top skill players in school history during tenure at Georgia, and helped the Bulldogs to an 84-35 overall record, five seasons of at least 10 wins and to six bowl victories.
  • coached in eight bowl games, including the national championship contest against Florida State in 1999 while serving as the receivers coach at Virginia Tech
